Beech Forest Trail, Provincetown – The treat here is a pond full of white water lilies.

Peterson Farm, Falmouth -- The farm has abundant natural resources, with pond, marsh, grasses and woodland. Deer, fox and coyote visit the fields in search of food, and otter live in the marsh. The variety of birds, especially migrating birds, makes the farm a popular spot for birdwatchers.

Bennett’s Neck, Bourne – More than a mile of shoreline and stunning Buzzards Bay views make this vista especially dramatic.  Kayak the coves and inlets.

UMass Field Station , Nantucket – Enjoy a diverse wildflower meadow.  Perfect for picture taking.

Hawksnest State Park, Harwich – A quiet and tranquil forest offers the same lush forest scenery without the crowds of Nickerson. 

Kent’s Point, Orleans – This walking area offers a superb vista over two rivers leading to Pleasant Bay. 

Long Point Wildlife Refuge, Martha’s Vineyard – A great place to watch the waves with a southerly exposure.  Take a kayak tour and enjoy the wild life.

Little Island, West Falmouth – The tide pools are loaded with tiny treasures and winged visitors often stop to rest on the glacial erratics littered offshore.  The best time to visit is sunset when the sun sinks into Buzzards Bay.
