After a delicious breakfast at the Inn, thoughts will eventually turn to lunch or dinner. The restaurants in the area cater to every palate. They range from romantic fine dining to lobster shacks. Some blend exotic spices with Cape Cod food and others serve it straight up. You can find your entrée fried, sautéed, boiled or broiled. Our area has it all, and we will be happy to help you find the right restaurant to satisfy your cravings.

Dining on Cape Cod has a delightfully relaxed atmosphere.  Although we have many elegant establishments there is no need to “dress up” to enjoy a fine dining experience.  As befits a vacation area, the only requirements – shoes and shirts!  But don’t worry, you won’t look out of place if you prefer to “dress” for dinner.

In general, the evening meal is served until 10:00 P.M., although many restaurants continue their service until midnight.

Provincetown

Provincetown is renowned for its fine restaurants.  There are so many that you could stay a month without repeating.  There are elegant waterfront restaurants, colorful sidewalk cafes, sophisticated bistros and casual dining on outdoor decks on the beach.  Most are open from early spring through the New Year, and some remain open throughout the winter months.  Fresh local seafood is readily available – steamer clams, oysters, scallops, mussels, squid, bluefish, tuna, swordfish, and lobster, served in a variety of styles, most notably Portuguese.  Comfortable casual clothes are the style in most restaurants but short shorts may be frowned on in the evenings, and bare chests and feet are not allowed.

The Lower Cape

Some of the finest dining is just around the corner from the Inn.  All of them have some of the finest seafood around prepared just the way you like it.  These establishments are well known for their fresh fish and seafood.  While many restaurants feature the “catch of the day” and other local favorites, there is no lack of other fare, including Italian, French, Continental, Asian and, of course, good old traditional American.
